Studio Journal

At Oasis Studios, we're interested in stories that exist within culture rather than simply observing it from the outside. Football gives us an opportunity to explore identity, belonging, friendship, class, fashion, music and place — often all within the same story.

Oasis Studios was born out of a simple idea: there should be more space for filmmakers to make work that feels honest.

We wanted to build a production company that could move between narrative film, documentary, branded work and culturally driven stories without losing the creative identity behind them.

For us, production isn't just about getting a project from an idea to a finished film. It's about understanding why a story matters, finding the right people to tell it, and creating an environment where filmmakers can do their best work.

We're particularly interested in stories rooted in culture, identity, music, sport, fashion and youth. The things that shape how people see themselves and the world around them.

Oasis is still growing, but the ambition remains the same: to develop distinctive films with filmmakers we believe in, while building long-term creative relationships along the way.
